Workshops

With a goal to provide a variety of art and craft experiences at the Watson, workshop programming is facilitated by a committee of board members and volunteers, under the direction of the Watson Executive Director.

The committee is always searching for new course opportunities and will work with instructors to book a room, advertise the class, coordinate registration and collect fees.

Instructors must provide a brief course outline, along with photos of the course project. A contract must be signed before a workshop is advertised.

Both DDAAC and the instructor are responsible for promoting the class prior to the start date. The Marketing & Promotions committee will create a poster for the workshop and the Workshop committee will ensure it is posted in house, on the Watson website, Facebook and Instagram. Instructors may share the electronic poster by request. If an instructor requests posters distributed in the community, it would be at their expense. Workshops will be mentioned at other Watson events and on CKDM, as well.
