McHarg School of Highland Dance

Has been operating since April 2009 and joined the Dauphin and District Arts Council February 2011.  Providing Highland Dance instruction to members of the community from ages three and over, the McHarg School of Highland Dance offers dance-outs, medal testing exams and competition opportunities to students.  All classes are taught following the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance (SDTA) syllabus by a qualified dance instructor.
Classes are held in the Watson Art Center – Ballet Room on Wednesday evenings from September to May.  Time and duration of classes vary dependent upon the age and skill level of the dancer.
