    Dauphin Art Group Weekend Workshop

    Date: March 17, 2012
Time: March 17 and 18 9am-4pm each day
Details: Workshop will be at The Old Firehall in the Watson Art Centre, 104 1st Ave NW, Dauphin.  Work on your own project or this session's theme led by our instructor.  Centering participants’ own hands as subject matter, the workshop will initially involve drawing from observation before moving on to less conventional modes of working including but not limited to ink drawings rendered using fingerprints. Exploring value, texture and pattern, participants will develop character studies of their hands that incorporate the unique identity their fingerprints represent.  Our Instructor is Ben Davis, Sessional Instructor in the Fine Arts Dept at Brandon University. Maximum for class: 15 people.  Annual Membership: $10.00, Cost of Workshop: approx $80.00 (based on #registered).  Please contact the Dauphin Art Group - call Marilyn 638-3338 to register.
